If your ipod or laptop was connected to my wifi, it would not be possible for me to see your web history. I am not aware of the possibility of other devices viewing web history. Web history is stored on that local computer/device.

If your connecting to a network you are passing information across that network, so if someone is watching the traffic that is passing over a network (wireless or wired) then yes they can view what you are viewing, this is true for any device that can be networked, this is why most companies provide there workers outside of the office with virtual private network connections in order to encrypt the traffic between there employees and the company. Also if someone else is also connected to the same network you are it is possible for them to see what is being sent over the network. This is why it is a risky idea to use public wireless networks for anything private.
