Anger, like any other emotional response, is not resolved by attending one course -or, in my view, any course for that matter, unless the course demands assessment, analysis, and ongoing behavioral awareness in combination with real-life interventions. It’s not that the course, in itself, does not have good intentions … it’s just that a course typically does not provide the vehicle for shifting from the course content and insular environment of the classroom to the tools and techniques needed to effectively manage the demands of real-world problems.
