Is Dan Rather really a biased gasbag?
Yes. He’s the one who began the practice of journalists making idiots out of themselves by standing out on the beach in hurricane force winds to show us what it’s like. On Setember 11, 1987 he left the set of CBS Evening News, because he was to be preempted by a tennis match On June 2nd, 1988, he hosted a CBS news show called “The Wall Within”. In it, he interviewed 6 former servicemembers, two of whom stated they killed civilians, and two others who said they had friends killed. Out of all 6, only one of them happened to have been in Vietnam. He claimed to be a Navy SeAL, but was actually an equipment repairer. He also stood by falsified documents during the so-called “swift-boat scandal” during the 2004 Presidential election.
