Is it hard to learn korean language?
The problem lies in changing your linguistic thought process. The Korean language structure and usage can be quite differently ordered than English (or any other language). It’s also very difficult for Koreans to learn English, much for that same reason. Other than that, however, it helps to remember that the array of Korean expressions for similar concepts is not nearly as vast as in English. For instance, I know from being told by an elderly Korean watching me deal with my 4-year-old that there is no Korean expression for “pick me up”, as in being lifted into one’s arms. Children simply say “hold me”. To get back to the real concern, accept that you can hardly learn Korean by falling back on English grammatical structure. Once you get in flow with the way Korean forms its sentences and with what goes where, it’s actually smooth sailing. Just keep learning new words, especially nouns.
