Hello Sir Alan, I think the All Weather has improved so much over the years. When it first started I never even gave it a second look, but in the last 2/3 seasons the top trainers have been sending their horses to compete and I think it really is time that a few Group races be run on All Weather to see how it works out. Living within 20 minutes of Britain’s newest All weather track Great Leighs I would really like to see some Group Races staged there. I do know that at the end of September (27th) they are going top end and staging a Saturday night meeting worth £215,000 which is to be a trial for the Breeders Cup. If it comes off then some of the top horses from America and Australia could come over for future races and top prize money, now that has to be good for racing. Most racing on the All Weather consists of Class 5 and 6 Handicaps and Claimers, but even these give smaller trainers and owners a chance to run a horse and have a chance of winning a small race., and all those horses
