Some of my employees are having trouble installing the Offline Expense Service. What are they doing wrong?
Because the Offline Expense Service updates system files and writes to system areas of the Windows registry, users must have administrator privileges on their computers to install the Offline Expense Service. (If they do not know whether they have administrative rights, they should contact an IT professional in your company for assistance.) Therefore, a user with administrator privileges will need to install the Offline Expense Service on behalf of any users who do not have administrator privileges on their computers. After the administrator installs the software on the user’s machine, they will need to move the following items: • Move the Offline Expense Service icon from the Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop folder to the user’s Desktop folder. • Move the Offline Expense Service folder from the Documents and Settings\Administrator\Start Menu\Programs folder to the user’s Start Menu\Programs folder.
