The Fingerprint Reader now has a scrolling capability – what does that mean?
A. While the 4-way directional control button on the exterior of the system continues to allow users to move the cursor up, down, left and right, the new scrolling capability of the Fingerprint Reader allows users to run the pad of their finger over the Fingerprint Reader either horizontally or vertically to accomplish vertical scrolling when a scrollbar is present in a window. The Fingerprint Reader automatically switches to scroll mode when a scrollbar is present and when the system is not engaged in an authentication task.
