What are all the positions for softball?
it depends most of the time there are 9 positions:pitcher, catcher, 1st base, 2nd base, short stop, 3rd base, right field, center field, and left field but sometimes there are 11 positions but that is very rare but when there are 11 positions the positions are the same except you add one player in between right field and center field and another player in between left field and center field.
In fastpitch it is the same as baseball, but in slowpitch, I think there is a mid-field too. That is why people are always confused, because girls who play fastpitch may not know there is a mid-field in slowpitch. I didn’t until recently.By just saying softball, it opens the question up to slowpitch and fastpitch players.
