What are some things to do to get over somebody you love that does not love you back?
Talk with someone who is close to you and ask them their relative and objective opinion on the current situation(for instance ask your sister, brother, mom, dad, friend etc…) Although the biggest thing to do to get over someone for all the time is to learn how to love yourself, beacuse when you love someone that person becomes more important than yourself and that is the biggest problem.
Firstly show yourself compassion and acknowledge your feelings of hurt as you would a dear friend.Secondly congratulate yourself for having the capacity to love as believe it or not not everyone can.Thirdly feel relieved that your time wasn’t wasted anymore than it had to be and relish your freedom at this point in your life. There are many reasons someone can’t return our love and it is never a reflection of how loveable we are .It is often something outside of the persons control or choice .Get busy enjoying your life so that when someone suitable comes along you have so much to share.
My only advice for you hun is to LOVE YOURSELF MORE! <3
Trust me, I went through that before and weather its cheating or abuse or whatever it may be.. the best way to get out of it or to move on is to love yourself more. Know your worth. We control our feelings whether we think so or not. If you loved yourself more, you will never let another human being make you feel some type of way or so low. You will always get up and brush your shoulders off because it just means that someone else out there is waiting for you to see your worth the way they would treasure you.
Getting over someone is not the key, but rather what you do with your life after a breakup or disappointment. Focus on yourself and growth, whether you decide to exercise, do craft, or join groups. In these cases it may help keep you mind off the person, and in the mean while meet new persons. Getting over someone that you love will take time however, in the meanwhile keep yourself occupied. Remember nothing is wrong with crying and airing out your feeling as this is the first step to recovery.
