What are some tips on planting peach trees?
Dig the planting hole large enough so the root system can spread out without being crowded in the hole. Set the plant so it won’t settle any deeper than it was grown in the nursery. Some roots will be only a few inches below the soil line. Work soil in and around roots, firming the soil as you fill the hole. Don’t place fertilizer in the planting hole, and don’t fertilize immediately after planting. Thoroughly soak the soil when finished planting.
