What breeds are recognized by TICA?
TICA recognizes cats accepted for championship competition such the Abyssinian, American Bobtail, American Curl (shorthair and longhair), American Shorthair, American Wirehair, Balinese, Bengal, Birman, Bombay, British (shorthair and longhair), Burmese, Chartreux, Cornish Rex, Cymric, Devon Rex, Egyptian Mau, Havana, Himalayan, Japanese Bobtail (shorthair and longhair), Korat, LaPerm (shorthair and longhair), Maine Coon, Manx, Munchkin (shorthair and longhair), Nebelung, Norwegian Forest, Ocicat, Oriental (shorthair and longhair), Persian, Peterbald, Pixiebob, Ragdoll, Russian Blue, Scottish Fold (shorthair and longhair), Selkirk Rex (shorthair and longhair), Siamese, Siberian, Singapura, Snowshoe, Somali, sphinx, Tonkinese, Toyger, Turkish Angora, and Turkish Van. TICA also recognizes newly developing breeds or traits which are in the foundation registry and are not yet accepted for championship competition. Those breeds include the Chausie, Highlander, Kurilian Bobtail, Savannah, Sok
