Building Permits and subsequent Certificates of Occupancy are not required for: Aboveground pools; however, any deck (not an integral part of the aboveground pool itself), does require a Building Permit and subsequent Certificate of Occupancy Storage sheds and other accessory structures less than 100 square feet in floor area and not permanently affixed to the ground Re-siding a building Replacing Roof Shingles Window Replacement that does not involve any structural change to the window opening Solid fuel burning devices installed prior to January 1, 1984
