What is a Conditional Checklist?
A Conditional Checklist is a list of objectives that are often placed in groups. In certain cases, if an item being assessed fails, then the entire group fails. However, the rest of the objectives can still be graded. The key in this situation is the feedback. There may be cases where there are five objectives to pass. An item or student fails the first item yet passes the next four. It is still important feedback even though the person or item fails the overall assessment. There would be a better understanding of requirements to pass the overall going forward.
