What is the best way to put a wood handle into a plastic wiffle ball bat?

If you make the handle wood, there wouldn’t be enough weight on the barrel of the bat. Basically, it would be a very difficult job. Here’s what you should try: Buy a bottle of Great Stuff (a foam product made by Dow), you can find it in any hardware store. There should be a hole in the handle end of bat, put a similar hole on the tip of the barrel end of the bat. Fill the bat up from the barrel side of the bat (you may need to also fill it up from the handle side if the foam doesn’t go all the way through the bat – or you can leave it with the extra weight on the barrel). It will be the greatest plastic bat you’ve ever used!
