What is the Pyrethroid Working Group (PWG)?

0

The PWG is an industry-based group that was formed in 1990 to collectively address questions raised by the US EPA on aquatic ecotoxicity of cotton-use pyrethroids, focusing on the potential effects on fish and on fish food sources and the environmental exposure routes and mechanisms. More recently, the PWG member companies agreed to work together on regulatory issues associated with crops other than cotton and now have also agreed to address the California re-evaluation data requirements.
