Lizards, like many reptiles, do not lick you like a dog would. Lizards do not show that type of bond to a person like a dog or a cat would do. Yes, that is unspecific, in my opinion because many types of lizards do not have forked tongues so I cannot tell you the exact one you are thinking of.
