When cementing in Insta Arch®, how much of the unit should still be exposed after the 1st coat?

Once the 1st coat has been processed, the entire Insta Arch® unit should appear to be completely buried in joint compound. If part of the unit appears to be showing after the 1st coat, the 2nd coat should definitely cover any bare areas. Upon finish coat, Insta Arch® should appear to be completely coated-in and evenly feathered.
