When did Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Meo Zedong rule?
HItler became Chancellor of Germany in January of 1933 and ruled until his death at the end of April of 1945. Stalin is a little bit harder as the lines of authority in the Soviet Union were never crystal clear. Lenin died in 1924. Most scholars seem to agree that Stalin had clearly become the leader over Trotsky by 1927 or 1928. Stalin died in 1953. Mao was leader of mainland China from the end of the Revolution in 1949 until his death in 1976.
