When I play AP Radio, it doesn play all of the songs. How come?
First of all, we only stream Windows Media files and Real Media files. We do not stream MP3’s. We only offer MP3’s for download. Furthermore, we can only offer a Playlist of songs that are all in the same format. We can’t play a Playlist that is a mix of Windows Media and Real Media files because both the Windows and Real Media players only play their own format and not the other. (The ACIDplanet Media Player can play both formats, but we have not managed to have it play radio streams yet.) Here’s what this means. When you play your Playlist, we first check to see if the Listening Format you have selected in your Preferences is set to Windows Media or Real Media. Then we look at the AP Radio song list, gather up all of the songs that are in that format, and start playing them for you. For example, AP Radio is supposed to play the top 50 songs on the All Genres Current Top Songs chart. For some of those songs, the artist might have only uploaded an MP3. Those songs will not play in AP R
