I admit, I was a bit nervous going here, as it was for our first anniversary dinner and I just hoped I’d picked the right place. I told them about the occasion ahead of time, and to increase our chance of getting a window table we’d made reservations for early in the evening …But I must say, in no way was I prepared for how wonderfully they treated us. We got (in my opinion) the best table (the view is incredible), and were handed menus with Happy 1st Anniversary! printed right on them – which they told us we could take home if we wanted – and our dessert also had Congratulations! written in icing. The waiter was very attentive, and the bottle of wine they recommended was fabulous and always poured the second one of us ran low. The sushi we ordered practically melted in our mouths and was DELICIOUS, and the steak I ordered was great (though I could do without the liver in the topping – which they DID warn me about and ask if I’d prefer it without – I should’ve remembered I really ju

I stayed at the Hyatt because it was Christmas holiday. If you stay at the W, overlooking over the Navy Pier, or the Westin looking north past the Drake up the shoreline, you realize how bleak things get in the wintertime. Lake Michigan looks SOOOOO cold. But I asked for a room high up with a view of the Wrigley Building. They put me on a high floor in the West Tower facing north. Excellent. The semi-frozen Chicago river in the foreground, and the Wrigley and Tribune buildings behind them — the foot of the Mag Mile. In summer, sure, maybe you want to see the Navy Pier or Grant Park, but this was perfect in winter. Other good things: (1) the staff were extremely solicitous and helpful; 5-star customer service, (2) the main lobby is capacious and comfortable, as is the Big Bar, the hotel’s main bar in the lobby, (3) the hotel connects to the underground (a network of underground halls that connects the nearby buildings), which is very convenient for lunch when the weather is ra

Beautiful space with beautiful people, after years of putting up with small, tacky, overpriced, and overglorified lounges So well decorated…it takes you back to a time when clubs were hot, sexy and decadent. The food, drinks, & service are great. A touch that starts your night out on a good note. The staff is actually friendly, too. The diverse crowd, I love it. Great place to meet people. The music goes perfectly with conversation, drinking, & relaxing.their Martini’s are awesome, what more can you ask for?Pros + Service, People, Drinks

Great place to start or end the night. Good service, the hostess seats you. Excellent bar snacks and a great variety of dinks. Not too expensive for being Trump, like I said I would recommend to start the night or end it here and just have a couple cocktails. Crowd was kinda older and touristy I imagine that it will get more local as the place catches on. Pros + the view, lots of different drink coicesCons – kinda pricey but worth it
