Where is the Best Italian Food in Seattle, Washington?

We’ve considered Fremont Pizza one of our favorite places for years now. There is no where else in Seattle to enjoy such a solid, tasty Italian menu at such reasonable prices. For a few visits over the past years, we did experience the occasional off night, where the pizza flavor seemed to be missing something, or 1 visit where the service was so atrocious I ended up emailing the restaurant to complain. We noticed last night when we visited that the place has been taken over by a longtime employee, while the original owner has moved on to explore different venues. With this change of management seems to have also brought a correction to any inconsistencies. Everything about our experience was right on – From being seated promptly and courteously, to fast, but not overbearing service (our server was OUTSTANDING). The food was excellent from appetizer (calamari di friti with red pepper and garlic aioli that is so wonderful, we wiped the container with the last piece of calamari a

We went here for an early dinner. It’s a small place but very nice and welcoming. I had the baked fettuccini formaggi. It was soooo good!!!! I think having it baked definately made the fettuccini taste better. Overall, I think they have pretty good food…I was impressed.Pros + Great food, good serviceCons – little expensive

I am moving to Seattle and was staying in the Crown Plaza. I wanted pasta and salad for dinner so we went around the corner to Tulio. Turns out, not really a pasta and salad place, but I was SO glad that I made my way there. My sister and I had a glass of prosecco to start. Then we shared the sweet potato gnocchi. I think that may be one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my whole life. I was a little sad that we shared it. I moved on to the chicken with lemon risotto. The risotto was done perfectly, and the chicken had such good flavor. It wasn’t dry or bland. My sister had the TAGLIATELLE winter ragu, homemade ricotta. It was also fantastic. There was plenty of food, and I wish we would have had room for dessert, because it all looks yummy!Pros + atmosphere, food, wine listCons – none
