Great food! Great atmosphere! Great staff! A memorable and delicious dining experience!!! Especially liked the “Catch of the Day,” the mac n’ cheese, the desserts. This place just made my regular restaurant list.

With teenage boys finding somewhere that will fill them up with meat is always tricky! This is the place. The meat is always perfect and is offered before you have an opportunity to look for it. Especially try the house meats (the garlic crust is fabulous.)The salad bar is the best ever. It offers perfect hearts of palm, cheeses, asparagus and much more in addition to the regular salad bar items.The thing that makes the meal so memorable though is the service! The entire meal it seemed like we were the most important customers in the place (and we had teenagers and younger). My boyfriend and I decided to try out Tuckers last Friday night after finding it so highly reviewed on Citysearch, and we were not disappointed. We made reservations, only to arrive at 7:30 to an almost completely empty restaurant, which was somewhat startling. We inquired about the emptiness and were told that it was some sort of “fluke” – that it’s usually more busy. The atmosphere is great, with big fireplaces both inside and on the large patio. The service was very attentive, and though the menu is somewhat limited, the food was delicioius. The wine list was also good, with a great deal of Australian selection. Only comment I would make is that the price listing on citysearch is somewhat misleading. Entrees ranged from $20-30, salads and appetizers around $8-10. We went to Capital Grille (uptown) for our anniversary last year and were very, very impressed. First of all – if you are celebrating a special occasion, be sure to let them know when you make reservations! We got there to find that our table had “Happy Anniversary” confetti sprinkled down the middle, a card signed by staff; a complimentary photograph was taken, our dessert was on the house, and I (the lady) was given a rose. Lovely experience! Now to the food…can I just say DROOL….! OMG…I ordered the French Onion Soup as an appetizer, and it is the best I’ve ever had; hubby had the lobster bisque and said it was the 2nd best he’s had, the first being when he was on a business trip in Maine, so there you go. My filet mignon was positively melt-in-your-mouth delectable, as were the garlic potatoes, and hubby loved his steak and asparagus as well. I setup my reservation to beat the crowd on a Friday night, and my wife and I were really looking forward to something special. The decor was as described by Citysearch — minimal, modern, and nice. Not too trendy or over the top, but a bit empty until the place fills up with guests.The service was excellent. Chef Salum himself took our coats and later checked on us to see if all had gone well, and the rest of the staff shares his relaxed but attentive demeanor.
