I suppose clearly that “The Birds” made in 1963 doesn’t have a murder did by a human.Another classic is the 1957 version of “The Wrong Man” with Henry Fonda.I’m not sure if the 1929 classic “Blackmail ” features murder or not.Equally “Sabotage” made in 1946 does not feature murder as such but more a attempt to destroy the statue of Liberty.As for my favourite film made by him,”The 39 Steps” made in 1939 featuring Robert Donat and Madeline Carroll remains the best version of John Buchan’s novel.
