Who won the debates?
Again, that is a subjective call, but polling from several agencies agrees that Obama did better in all three presidential debates, both among independent/undecided voters and among all voters. Here are the results from Gallup: Palin’s performance in the vice-presidential debate seemed to have had two effects. First, it silenced the critics who, based mostly on the Couric interviews, worried that Palin could not even form a coherent English sentence. Second, for a majority of viewers it reinforced the view that Biden is the more experienced, knowledgeable pick.
