Why do rainy days feel like sad, dreary days?

Because they are…..make a fire in the fireplace…or wrap up in a comforter and watch a good movie. We tend to want to hiberate like bears…but not able to. We deal with it the best we can. We need sunshine…invigorates us. Have to learn how to cope during the dreary times. HUGS!!

I guess because the rain keeps people indoors and limits what you can do. I like the rain and my neighbors think I’m crazy when I go out and dance in it. It’s all in how you look at things. . .And I so love the sound of rain. . .

Not everyone gets this way. Those who do are most likely affected by the lack of Vitamin D (which the sun provides lots of) on rainy days. A good way to avoid this is by taking multivitamins. It’s no coincidence that places like Seattle have the highest depression rates in the country. People who get less sun are more susceptible to depression.

I love rainy days! While other people are sad, I have a smile on my face.

I personally like rainy days. But maybe because they are dark and people associate them with sad times.
