Why shouldn’t it be? Just because YOU think marijuana is evil and bad, doesn’t mean everyone else has to. The word “alternative” should describe it plainly enough. People choose to medicate with whatever works for them. Some medicate with alcohol, some with heroin, some with cigarettes…these are all forms of “alternative” medicine. Just because a person is not taking Advil, Vicodin, Demerol, Xanax, Ritalin, Trazadone, Paxil, Aricept, Zyprexa etc…does not mean they are not medicating. Marijuana has been proven to be an acceptable treatment for many, many different ailments from pain, nausea, ADHD, headaches, muscle spasms, multiple sclerosis…too many to list. It is not illegal for medical use. Lets give you a scenario. Lets say you are in an automobile accident. In the accident, you fracture your spine.
