Why is my device displaying the error message “AIM is not a valid Pocket PC Application”?
This usually occurs if you have canceled installation of AIM on the device prior to its completion and have attempted to reinstall the AIM program before deleting the partially installed files. To correct this problem, from your desktop computer, double click My Computer; open Mobile Device, then My Pocket PC. Open the Program Files folder and delete the AOL Instant Messenger folder before re-installing.
