Why is my facecard declined at a “pay at the pump” gasoline station when I have enough money on my facecard to cover the gas bill?
The “pay at the pump” card terminal checks to see if your facecard has sufficient funds to pay for an “average” gas purchase, which these days can approach $75. Therefore, to purchase gas at a pump, you must have at least $75 on your card. If you do not have $75 on your card, we recommend that you prepay the cashier inside for your gas purchase.
