Why is there nothing in my inbox when I use Squirrelmail?
When emails are sent to you, they are received by our email server and stored in a mailbox. You then connect to our system using your email program (Outlook for example) and download copies of the messages onto your computer. By default most email programs then delete the messages from the mailbox. The Squirrelmail webmail system is just another email program, like Outlook or Eudora. The only difference is that it runs on our web server, rather than on your own computer, and is accessed via the web. When you log in to Squirrelmail it shows you the messages that are currently in your mailbox. If the messages have previously been downloaded by you using (for example) Outlook, and deleted from the mailbox, then they will no longer be accessible through Squirrelmail.
