I have created educational poster boards from old cardboard boxes, so I always make sure that I am setting an example for my audience. Would this program fit the criteria for the Reuse Assistance Grant? If so, I would choose one city to partner with and assist with the application process. A. Grant and/or matching funds cannot be used to purchase worm composting bins or for items to promote recycling, as composting and recycling projects are ineligible (as stated on page 4 of the application instructions). Please note that this offering’s primary purpose is to address potential waste material that is already in existence, and to encourage the establishment of tangible and long-term systems, infrastructure, projects, and/or facilities that recover materials for reuse which are otherwise destined for disposal.
