Keeping your kitchen clean doesn’t have to be tedious, hard or time-consuming. All it takes is some planning, some elbow grease and a bit of time. You can keep your kitchen clean and organized by taking at least 30-40 minutes a day, or less.
Most everyone uses their kitchen to prepare breakfast and dinner and of course that means preparing the food, setting out the dishes and silverware and clean-up at the end of the day.
When cleaning the kitchen it is important to clean your sink and countertops. Some use disinfectants to clean the sink and countertops, while others use liquid soap and water. Whatever method you use, is up to you but make sure that both are clean and dry.
Then, sweep or dry-mop your kitchen floor. By keeping your kitchen floor free of debris, you will not only keep it clean for your family, but also keep nasty pests from coming into your kitchen.
In addition, be sure to clean your refrigerator handle and kitchen sink water disposal. Plain soap and water can get this job done and will ensure that germs and bacteria stay away. After cleaning the kitchen sink, be sure to clean up your coffeemaker and its accoutrements, so that everything will be ready for the following day.
Lastly, be sure and clean around the top of your stove and also the handle that opens your oven. While cleaning this area, check once again to make sure that everything has been turned off.
